Training

Learners who have done the work, not just the course

AgriSETA and QCTO accredited learnerships delivered on a working commercial farm.

Skills development

A working farm that is also a training facility

TPPF Greens trains agricultural learners on a commercial farm rather than in a classroom, with a purpose-built training facility and a controlled-environment growing chamber on site.

Accredited learnerships

Learnerships at NQF Levels 2 to 4 are delivered under AgriSETA and QCTO accreditation, covering plant production, mixed farming and agricultural processing. Learners work the same block, the same mill and the same irrigation scheme that the commercial operation runs on.

Corporate skills development partners

Companies with skills development obligations can place learners here. We handle accreditation, facilitation, assessment and the reporting that goes with it, and we can host site visits so that partners see where their contribution goes.

Why it sits on a working farm. Agricultural training that happens away from a commercial operation produces people who have passed a course. Training that happens inside one produces people who have done the work, in the season, under the same pressure the job carries. That is the whole argument for doing it this way.
